concrete pillars for shed base
An easy shed foundation for the beginner and good for prebuilt or a home built sheds. a foundation of pavers sits on leveled exposed ground or a sand base. they provide a solid flat base upon which to build or set a shed and evenly support the floor. the bigger the paver, the heavier it is, but the fewer you need.. Personally, when i built the pier foundation for my shed, i started from scratch with several lengths of pressure treated 4x4s, a load of gravel, and several bags of pre-mixed cement. in the end, i believe this type of pier shed foundation provides the strongest base for most sheds.. Concrete piers for sheds may be necessary if the shed site has considerable slope. unlike setting a shed on blocks, which are also built in piers, concrete piers go fairly deep into the ground, and are a permanent foundation.. concrete pillars for shed base
I get started with putting some wood on the shed. first the 4x4 beams on the concrete piers, then the 2x6 floor frame. finally the plywood floor is laid on top of everything for the walking surface..
